Matt has six years of professional editing experience, including three years as Editor-in-Chief of a national magazine and three years editing scholarly articles for faculty and students at National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan, many of which have won awards. Matt also taught a popular writing course at NCKU and taught writing at the prestigious Chong Ming Jr. High in Tainan. Matt has lived in Taiwan for six years, speaks Mandarin Chinese, and writes professionally for Transitions Abroad, the Huffington Post, and other publications.
